I had a hard time finding Mary online, she does not have much of an online presence. I was able to find a statement written by her for Gravers Lane Gallery, in which she talks about the qualities of porcelain . The pieces she throws are paper thin and have a lot of movement. She compared the process of working with the porcelain to drawing. I am drawn to the fluidity of her forms and the delicate thinness.
